David Evans

David Evans is Arizent’s Chief Content Officer, responsible for the overall direction of editorial content for each brand.

Evans has more than 20 years of experience in strategic leadership for media, professional services and research organizations, leading cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of compelling content across traditional media, digital and live events. Most recently, he led global event content strategy for Forrester, the technology research company. He also led the worldwide face-to-face client programming for Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), the world's leading expert and professional education network.

Evans began his career as a business journalist and editor, including roles as Executive Editor of Canadian Business and as an Editor-in-Chief at Adweek Magazines, before pivoting to events and business leadership for Business Week, The Industry Standard, and Fast Company, among others.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, Evans was selected as a Knight-Bagehot Fellow in Business and Economic Journalism by the Journalism School at Columbia University in New York. He is married (to another Knight-Bagehot Fellow), lives in Westchester County, NY, and spends as many weekends as possible at a converted barn in the Berkshires.
