Elizabeth Khalil is a partner at Dykema Gossett PLLC in Chicago and Washington, DC. She focuses her practice on regulatory compliance for financial institutions, as well as for their third-party service providers. She formerly held senior attorney and compliance positions at the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). She also served as a senior associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP (formerly Hogan & Hartson), where she led the team that produced the original PLI Financial Institutions Answer Book. Throughout her career, she has served as a subject matter expert on vendor management/third-party risk management issues and, as an enforcement attorney at the OCC, worked on investigations and enforcement actions involving third-party relationships.She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, American Bankruptcy Institute, and Federal Communications Bar Association. She graduated from Georgetown University and the University of Michigan Law School.
