Kim Ford

Kimberly (Kim) Ford is Vice President of Public Affairs for First Data, a Fortune 300 financial services company that is one of world�s leading payment processors.� In this role, Kim manages state and federal legislative and regulatory activity that may impact First Data�s domestic businesses, serving as lead public affairs representative for its financial services business segment. She is a registered lobbyist at the state and federal level and advocates on First Data�s behalf in front of Congress and state legislatures across the country. She is a subject matter expert on various issues such as privacy, prepaid, and debit and credit card issues as well as the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act. She routinely hosts regulatory update sessions with key payments industry players and First Data�s customers and partners, and she also supervises First Data�s state and federal consultants.Prior to her nine years at First Data, she was Regional Director for U.S. Senator Bill Nelson, one of Florida�s two federal senators, and she served as the Director of Government Relations for the Tampa Bay Homebuilders Association and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
