Shawn M. Budde

Shawn M. Budde, CEO of 2Checkout, is a veteran of the financial tech industry. Prior to taking the reins at 2Checkout, Budde pioneered big data risk analysis for underwriting at ZestFinance, a company that he co-founded with former Google CIO Douglas Merrill. Before starting ZestFinance, Mr. Budde served as Chief Customer Officer at Capital One, driving a billion dollar direct marketing operation across Capital One's extended enterprise, and directing the development of Capital One's industry-leading customer experience. His early career includes innovating new technology solutions for credit, fraud and marketing at banks and finance companies including, Citibank, CIT Group, and KeyCorp.
