New York, NY — May 4, 2026 — Arizent, a business information company serving financial and professional services communities, today announced that Danielle Lee has been named editor-in-chief of Employee Benefit News (EBN). In this role, Lee will lead the editorial vision and content strategy for EBN, guiding its coverage of the trends, policies, and innovations shaping employee benefits, workplace culture, and the future of work.
Employee Benefit News is the leading resource for HR and benefits decision-makers navigating critical topics including healthcare strategy, financial wellness, workplace culture, talent retention, and regulatory compliance. Its coverage spans original reporting, proprietary research, the BenefitsThink opinion platform, the LEADERS video channel for executive HR thought leaders, and marquee events including the BENEFITS AT WORK conference.
Lee joins EBN from within Arizent's portfolio, where she most recently served as managing editor of Accounting Today. In that role, she oversaw day-to-day editorial operations and helped shape the publication's coverage of practice management, technology, regulation, and the evolving accounting profession. Previously, she held roles as technology editor of Accounting Today and editor-in-chief of AccountingTechnology.com, where she built deep expertise at the intersection of professional services and digital transformation.
"I'm excited to lead a brand that plays such an important role in the daily decisions of HR and benefits professionals," said Lee. "The employee benefits landscape is evolving rapidly — from the rising cost of healthcare to the growing expectations around mental health, caregiving, and financial wellness. I look forward to ensuring Employee Benefit News continues to deliver the insight and analysis this community needs to make a real impact in the lives of the employees they serve."
Before joining Arizent, Lee covered the emerging corporate responsibility movement as executive editor of CRO (Corporate Responsibility Officer, now CR) magazine and worked for a range of entertainment and lifestyle publications in Los Angeles, including the industry trade magazine TelevisionWeek. She holds a bachelor's degree in print journalism with a minor in cinema/television from the University of Southern California.
