Before joining Microsoft, Eschbach served as VP of Product Marketing and Business Development at Mitsubishi. He has also held key management roles at Radius, Apple Computer and Applied Decision Analysis. He holds a PhD & MS in Engineering-Economics-Systems from Stanford University, an MA in Economics from Cambridge University, and both an MS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Economics from Washington State University.

    Chip Gettinger, vice president, Services & Sales Support, joined Astoria Software at its inception. Gettinger has 20 years of experience working with content management tools. While at Xerox Corporation's Astoria software group in the mid-1990s, Gettinger provided technical sales consulting for XML content management support for direct and channel sales efforts. Gettinger has held management positions in sales, product marketing, training, course development and technical writing at Document Management Solutions, Harlequin, XyEnterprise and Agfa Corporation. He received his bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts Technology from Northern Illinois University.
