She has spent 20+ years marketing database, data management and data warehousing products, beginning with the launch of DEC's Rdb. Farrell led consulting firm Migration Software into data warehousing in the mid-1990s. She served as VP of Marketing at Torrent Systems, acquired by Ascential Software. As VP of Data Warehouse Marketing at Teradata, a division of NCR, she developed aggressive programs that helped win data warehouse implementations away from competitors. Farrell is a frequent spokesperson and has written numerous articles about trends in data warehousing.
