Olivier Silvestre has been with Visual Sciences (formerly known as WebSideStory) since February 1999, occupying several upper management positions in marketing, e-business intelligence and professional services. Previously, he worked for several startup companies as well as large corporations like Sony. As Director of Optimization Consulting, Silvestre’s job is to help Fortune 500 customers turn information into actions to maximize their online profitability. He is in charge of creating new customer data visualization tools and optimization services that drive ROI and improved communication for our clients. He also manages a team of vertical specialists who are practice leaders and subject matter experts across a diverse range of sectors ranging from media & publishing, commerce and financial services to travel and hospitality. Silvestre has published many analytics industry-related articles and is a regular speaker at industry events.

Greg Lawn is the professional services manager of Technical Services at Attenex, a provider of open software platforms and expertise that enables corporations and their law firms to standardize e-discovery processes to reduce the risk, complexity and cost of litigation, regulatory requests and internal investigations.

Marge Williams is currently corporate manager of HRIS/compensation for Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse. Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree form Temple University as well as a certified payroll professional certification and professional human resources certification.

Sudz Kar is the managing principal of B-Symmetrix. B-Symmetrix specializes in financial transformations and business intelligence solutions for utilities. Kar was formerly with PWC.

Francois Lascelles joined Layer 7 Technologies in its earliest days and helped shape the vision of the SecureSpan product line. Today, as an enterprise software architect, he assists corporations in implementing service-oriented architectures.

Ed Harrington is executive vice president and COO for Model Driven Solutions, a Division of Data Access Technologies, Inc.(DAT). He is responsible for all operational aspects of DAT. Prior to joining DAT, Harrington was vice president of business development and Strategy for NEXOR. He is currently chair of the OMG-Open Group-IC Joint TOGAF-MDA Synergy Project.

Peter Elliman joined Symantec in July 2005 as part of the merger with Veritas Software Corporation. As senior product marketing manager for Veritas NetBackup, Elliman focuses on emerging disk-based data protection solutions. Prior to joining Veritas, Elliman spent 10 years in high-tech marketing and management consulting roles. He brings a wide range of marketing experience to Symantec that includes developing marketing strategy and customer acquisition programs for enterprise software products while part of IBM as well as similar experience with eMotion (now a Corbis company), a provider of hosted business applications for managing digital media. As a management consultant for both IBM Global Services and Price Waterhouse, Elliman worked on IT strategy and business process improvement projects in the U.S. and Japan. He also brings five years of experience in financial services in both product and risk management functions.

Leo Brunnick oversees the product marketing and management organizations as well as corporate communications and marketing for Vignette Corporation. He was formerly vice president of research and development at Vignette.
