He leads a team of data scientists who are aligned with business functions across the company to solve problems and identify opportunities where sophisticated analytics can lead to better outcomes.�Since joining Allstate in 2000 as an actuarial analyst in Pricing, Eric has held many leadership roles within Allstate's Product Operations organization. John is the Director of Data Science at CCC Information Services Inc. where he works to improve the claims process through the use of data analytics and predictive solutions. He has had the privilege of speaking at numerous analytics conferences on the world stage including Shanghai, Beijing, Austria, and Spain.�
Carla E. Brodley is the Dean of the College of Computer and Information Science at Northeastern University. A Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), she specializes in interdisciplinary machine learning research. Currently she is on the editorial boards of JMLR, Machine Learning, and DKMD, and is a board member of the International Machine Learning Society and of DARPA�s Information Science and Technology (ISAT) Board.Brodley earned her bachelor�s degree at McGill University in Mathematics and Computer Science, and her MS and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, at Amherst.
