Eck is the vice chair of the OASIS ebXML Implementation and Interoperability Committee; he participated in the ebXML PoC (Proof of Concept) demonstrations. Eck is on the Advisory Board of XML.Org and is listed as an XML Expert. He is the global contact to RosettaNet from GE Global eXchange Services and is closely involved in other XML initiatives, such as CIDX XML standards.
