Adam Klickovich is a Program Manager for the Cyber Financial (CyFin) Program of the National Cyber-Forensics & Training Alliance (NCFTA). The NCFTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, which partners with academia, industry, and government to neutralize cyber crime. Adam has degrees in National Security Studies and Information Technology from La Roche College. Adam served as an Intelligence Analyst at the NCFTA from 2009 to 2012. Adam then served as a Project Manager from 2012 to 2015. Adam oversees the production of intelligence on cyber threats targeting the financial services industry.
Mr. Kim advises companies in matters involving consumer finance regulation and litigation. He has extensive experience with federal consumer finance laws, including UDAAP, TILA, RESPA, EFTA, and the FDCPA. He also has particular skill and experience helping consumer finance clients with matters involving technology, such financial technology (FinTech) and the launch of card and smartphone-related products.In addition to his regulatory work, Mr. Kim has tried, as first or second chair, more than 20 cases to verdict and has briefed criminal and civil appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the New York State Appellate Division.Mr. Kim recently served as a senior enforcement attorney with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and is uniquely positioned to help clients avoid or navigate CFPB investigations. While at the Bureau, he led nationwide investigations involving consumer credit, mobile financial services, emerging payment systems, mortgage origination, and debt collection.Mr. Kim was lead counsel in the CFPB’s first enforcement actions involving mobile payments and was a member of the credit card/prepaid card/emerging payments issue team that helped coordinate enforcement activity with other offices at the Bureau. He also helped manage relationships with U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, state attorneys general, and state banking regulators and he drafted sections of the Office of Enforcement’s internal policies and procedures.Mr. Kim began his career as an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney's Office under Robert M. Morgenthau.At Ballard Spahr, he is a member of the Litigation Department, the Consumer Financial Services Group, the Mortgage Banking Group, the CFPB Task Force, and the Marketplace Lending Task Force.
