Ken Wolckenhauer is the head of Vendor Management at Nordea Bank’s New York branch. Leading up to this position, Ken was as a subject matter expert, trainer, solutions provider, and consultant for FIS, the world’s largest global provider dedicated to banking and payments technologies. With FIS, Ken specialized in financial industry regulatory risk and compliance, mostly in the area of anti-money laundering and watchlist compliance. Nordea Bank leveraged Ken’s risk and compliance knowledge to build out the vendor management program for the New York branch, developing a program that would properly manage risk as well as gaining acceptance to the US regulators. The success of the US program is now being used to advise Nordea’s European branches on enhancements to its TPRM program. Ken is a graduate of Bucknell University and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.

Dan Kimerling is the R&D Lead at Silicon Valley Bank. In this role he and his team are responsible for the ideation and development of new products, services, and offerings for the bank's customers world wide. Previously he was Co-Director of the Bank's API Banking program and led the bank's release of the first public API banking platform in the United States.Dan joined Silicon Valley Bank in July of 2015 through the acquisition of Standard Treasury, which he was the co-founder and CEO of. Standard Treasury - a YCombinator company - was the leading provider of API solutions to the financial services community and was named one of the 10 technology companies to watch by The American Banker in 2014. Because of his work on bringing cutting edge technology to banks, Dan was named to the 2015 Forbes' 30 under 30 list.Before starting Standard Treasury, Dan was the first employee and Chief Operating Officer of Giftly, a stored value technology company acquired by GiftCards.com in May 2013. While leading the company, Business Insider named Giftly one of "The 20 Best Start of 2011" and Dan one of the "25 Hot Young Stars In Silicon Valley". Giftly's mobile app was also named by "Best of the App Store" by Apple in 2012. Before Giftly, Dan was a journalist and analyst at TechCrunch, the leading technology website on the Internet until it's acquisition by AOL in 2010. He also ran their well-regarded conference business for two years. Earlier in his career he was an award winning policy scholar, being named the Anne Armstrong Policy Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and a Jeff Metcalf Fellow at the Hudson Institute.Dan holds an A.B. & A.M. with Honors from the University of Chicago and studied Analytic Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business under a Booth Scholars scholarship. Outside of his work at Silicon Valley Bank he is the Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of Deciens Capital, an early stage investment partnership. He also sits on the executive committee of the University of Chicago Bay Club and is a member of the NextGen Advisory Board at the Computer History Museum. He lives with his wife and their dogs in San Francisco.

Achim Griesel is chief operating officer at Haberfeld Associates, a Lincoln, Neb.-based bank consulting firm that focuses on customer acquisition marketing and profitability.

Joanna Smith-Ramani is the Associate Director at the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program, leading work on the Expanding Prosperity Impact Collaborative (EPIC), a neutral, first-of-its-kind initiative in the field of consumer finance designed to accelerate knowledge synthesis and problem solving among a wide cross section of experts from applied, academic, government, and industry settings working on critical dimensions of financial security. Joanna possesses over 15 years of consumer finance, community development, community development finance experience. Prior to joining FSP, Joanna served as Senior Innovation Director at the D2D Fund, leading the unit that designs, tests, and evaluates promising financial service innovations. In her role there, she developed innovations to improve savings and financial capability including: Prize-linked Savings, Tax Time Savings, Gamification, Emergency Savings, and Youth Savings. Additionally, Joanna led several federal grants, developed and sustained national coalitions, and built a network of industry partners. Joanna has led national and state legislative campaigns, resulting in the passage of a federal law and over 10 state laws expanding a savings innovation. She has been quoted in a variety of national and local media outlets including the�New York Times�National Public Radio, and�Fox Cable News. Joanna holds a master's in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. in Urban Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University. She serves on the Baltimore and Maryland CASH Advisory Group and on the Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition Board.�

James Paris serves as Executive Vice President, Capital Markets and Corporate Development, of Avant, a position he has held since September 2015. �In that role, Mr. Paris oversees all debt and equity capital raising efforts and all strategic acquisition and divestiture activity for Avant. �Prior to joining Avant, Mr. Paris was a Managing Director from July 2012 until August 2015 in BMO Capital Markets’ US Debt Capital Markets group in New York where he specialized in originating and structuring leveraged finance transactions for corporate and private equity clients. Prior to working at BMO Capital Markets, Mr. Paris was a Managing Director in New York at each of UBS Investment Bank, Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. �Mr. Paris received a BS in Finance from Indiana University, where he graduated with highest distinction, and a JD cum laude from Harvard Law School.

Jody Adams is a James Beard Award winning chef and visionary behind two of Massachusetts’ most well-known restaurants: Rialto, in Harvard Square, and TRADE, in Boston’s Seaport District. �Known as much for her humility, warmth and unshakeable work ethic as for her culinary skills, Adams has chartered an illustrious and adventurous career that has seen her competing on BRAVO’s�Top Chef Masters (Season Two), leading culinary-focused bike tours in Italy and raising millions of dollars for causes dear to her heart: most notably Partners in Health, Share Our Strength, which named her with their Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2010, and The Greater Boston Food Bank.After graduating with a degree in Anthropology from Brown University, Adams launched her career working as a line cook at Seasons restaurant in the famed Bostonian Hotel under Chef Lydia Shire in 1983. She and partners opened Rialto in 1994; just four months after the opening,The Boston Globe�awarded Rialto four-stars. A globetrotter by nature, she travels throughout the world frequently researching flavor combinations that then lead to her signature bold creations.Since 2011, Adams and her husband Ken have hosted the successful blog,�THE GARUM FACTORY, a colorful narrative and recipe collection written for the home cook. When not cooking or writing, Adams can likely be found cycling, an enormous passion of hers. She has biked in the 192-mile Pan Mass Challenge the past four years raising over $250,000 with her team for The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Anita Santos�is currently serving as vice president of marketing for Tyco Security Products, a global billion dollar business unit, where she is in charge of all product management and marketing strategy for video security, access control, location based security and intrusion security. She leads a global team of over 50 marketing professionals worldwide responsible for security product pricing, new product development, positioning strategies and channel management. Prior to joining Tyco, Santos worked for 10 years at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she held director-level positions in services, marketing, R&D and business development for several businesses. In addition to her vice president role, Santos is passionate about supporting startup organizations. She is an SEC accredited investor and owner of Ascend Investments LLC, an angel investment firm. She is an advisory member of Astia Angels, an organization providing women start-ups with access to capital. Santos earned a B.S. in business administration in marketing and finance from Merrimack College, and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University.

She is currently focusing on helping banks transform by leveraging new technology, collaborating on shared services and, most especially, by more effective use of human capital and expert talent with the banks.��Grainne plays a leadership role for PwC’s financial services blockchain efforts. In this role, she works with FinTech companies as well as financial services providers to help harness the power of the blockchain eco-system to drive competitive advantage as well as to promote efficiency in the financial system.She has over 20 years of experience in implementing regulatory change, managing people, and providing strategic direction across divisions at firms such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.�Grainne has designed and managed large-scale implementations through the entire lifecycle, from design through build, test, and adoption/conversion.An expert at running multidisciplinary teams, Grainne helps large programs deliver what the business needs for transformation, with particular focus on managing the risk and costs involved.Grainne is passionate about leadership and development of women in the industry and is a board member of the New York Women’s foundation.

David Gibbons is a senior adviser with Alvarez & Marsal Financial Industry Advisory Services in Chicago. He formerly held several senior-level positions at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
