Julia Kim is a Vice President in Public Finance at Wells Fargo Securities. She has been an investment banker for over twelve years and has worked on over $100 billion of financings for various types of credits from general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, certificates of participation and lease revenue bonds, enterprise and utility revenue bonds and tax and revenue anticipation notes. Throughout her career, Ms. Kim has managed and structured complex financings for issuers throughout the western region of the United States. She has also provided guidance on credit presentations and transaction execution. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Securities, Ms. Kim was an investment banker at Banc of America Securities for five years.Ms. Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and has passed the General Securities Representative and Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 7 and 63) securities qualification exams. She is an active member of the Women in Public Finance – Los Angeles Chapter and is currently serving as the Scholarship Chair.

David McPherson is a Principal at HDL Companies which represents over 400 cities and counties in California. Prior to joining the firm he served 28 years in local government for the cities of Newport Beach, San Jose and Oakland. While working for the City of Oakland, he became the first Tax Administrator in the Country to successfully tax medical marijuana. David is one of the state’s most recognized experts in cannabis horticulture, processing and dispensary operations. He uses his industry experience to assist local and state agencies in developing medical marijuana policies for regulation, compliance, auditing and economic development. David worked closely with the League of Cities and lobbyists on the development of AB 243, SB 243 and AB 266 which established the Medical Marijuana Regulation and Safety Act.David received his Bachelor’s Degree in History from California State University, Fullerton and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach.� While at Long Beach, he was named “Future Urban Administrator of the Year”.��

Dr. Weiss is director of the Advanced Practices Council, a research-based forum for senior IT executives looking for leading-edge insights into leveraging IT for corporate competitive advantage, sponsored by the Society for Information Management (SIM). She also facilitates SIM’s Regional Leadership Forum, a leadership development program. She speaks frequently at corporate, non-profit, and professional learning events and has been published widely in both the business and IT industry press. Open Computing magazine listed her as one of the top 100 women in computing.

Rob Harris is the Customer Data Management Strategist for Dell, joining the company in 2010. He has spent the last 15 years building development teams and designing architectures for Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Master Data Management solutions, working in the Finance, Health Care, High Tech, and Retail verticals. He has recently transplanted his family from Chicago to Austin, and is enjoying the shovel free winters.

Mark Troester oversees the company’s marketing efforts for SAS’ CIO and IT strategy, a strategy that spans Information Management, High Performance Analytics, OnDemand Cloud, and IT Intelligence solutions. These technologies provide critical support for SAS’ overall Business Analytics portfolio, including its business and industry solutions, providing superior performance, scalability, manageability and deployment flexibility.
