Lori is both a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) and a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP). Her expertise spans enterprise information architecture, data quality, master data management, data governance, common message modeling and many other information specialties. Currently, Lori leads an Enterprise Architecture (EA) team at Fiserv, a leading global provider of information management and electronic commerce systems for the financial services industry.
Patrick Genyn holds the position of Senior Director Drug Development Information Governance at Janssen Research & Development, LLC, one of the pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Genyn has 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He joined the Janssen Research Foundation in Beerse, Belgium in 1987 and has moved through different positions and responsibilities in Information Technology and Clinical Development. Mr. Genyn also taught Clinical Data Management as part of the Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs graduate program at Temple University for several years. Currently, based in Titusville, New Jersey, he is leading an initiative for implementing and operating a Master Data Governance and Management capability across the drug development organizations. Mr. Genyn received his Masters in Business from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Peg Farthing is currently serving as the Chief Data Steward for BMIs Enterprise Data Governance Program. As a founding member. Ms.Farthing has gained the support and trust of the senior management team through the development of a sustainable and metrics driven Data Governance Council. The key mission of this council is to ensure consistency between Business and IT and focus on our most valuable asset; data. She comes from a strong operational business background which has allowed her to become well versed in the operational use of data including the importance of accuracy, consistency and completeness. Ms. Farthings work in Strategic Operations has equipped her with the understanding of the solutions and processes to complete the lifecycle of data across BMI. She brings fifteen years experience with BMI in Operational as well as Program/Project Management in the end-to-end BMI business landscape. Her history in the company and coordination across resources will help to drive a steady program of success and enhance BMIs overall Data Governance program. She has held positions as Associate Director of Music Works as well as Director of Strategic Operations at BMI and was previously in the concert promotion and touring industry. Ms. Farthing received her Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Music Business from Belmont University.
Erica Gooch has worked in various capacities at Janssen Research & Development, LLC, one of the pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson, both in product safety evaluation and in master data governance. Upon the completion of her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Hampton University, she completed a fellowship in Pharmaceutical Benefit Risk Management at Johnson & Johnson and has remained at the Company for 6 years. She is currently a Drug Development Information Governance Lead, and is responsible for defining, obtaining approval, and managing business definitions; designing, building, and maintaining the Compound Master Data Domain; and acting as an advisor to resolve data quality and compliance issues. Erica is based in Titusville, NJ.
Carl Caruso is responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of master data management across the thirteen US operating companies that comprise the Consumer Sector of Johnson & Johnson. He manages a newly formed business department which has responsibility for all data which defines the Customers, Vendors, Materials and Supply Chains for the companies. Mr. Carusos strategy for MDM was formed from earlier experiences in his 20 year career as a mechanical and process engineer within the world of high speed manufacturing. Mr. Carusos experience implementing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies on high speed manufacturing processes proved to be invaluable when looking at data creation processes. From design engineering and R&D, Mr. Caruso went into supply chain management where he had success managing portions of the Johnson & Johnson portfolio of products. In this arena, Mr. Caruso managed various domestic and international supply chains with direct responsibility for customer service, cost, quality and compliance. His drive toward standardized process in business management landed him in a leading role in the design and implementation of supply chain processes within the initial SAP implementation that is now running all of J&J US Consumer. His broad knowledge of the SAP design as well as deep understanding of the master data within the system has led him to his current position. Mr. Caruso holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA.
