Latest NewsBill Ferguson is the Principle Consultant for all MDM projects for the Kellogg Company. In this capacity, and for the past three years, Mr. Ferguson is the Global Data Governance Officer, as well as MDM Program Manager. He led the selection process for the MDM software vendor and has also led Global Kellogg MDM implementations for Nutrition Management, Logistics, Legal Claims, Consumer Affairs, Packaging and Digital Marketing. Mr. Ferguson designed and delivered the global brand web site development and delivery process which now reaches over 200 web sites in 20 languages, representing a significant ROI for speed to market, and even higher reduction of web site cost. Currently, he is leading the effort to consolidate 12 GDSN data pool providers into a single global instance to facilitate data management, 2014 European nutrition labeling regulatory requirements, pending changes to the US Food Safety Awareness Act, as well as big box North American and European retail customer data requirements. In addition, Mr. Ferguson designed and implemented the Kellogg Global Data Governance program.Currently, he reports to the Kellogg Sr. Director of Digital Enablement, Chairs three regional MDM Executive Steering Committees, and is a member of the Global MDM ESC comprised of Kellogg Executive Management. A former Navy Nuclear Engineer, Mr. Ferguson has been consulting in the MDM, E-commerce and ERP arenas for 18 years. He led the largest Wholesale Distribution ERP in the Southern Hemisphere, has managed multiple Global ERP and Supply Chain implementations, as well as led Digital Marketing projects representing the CPG, Pharmaceutical, and Distribution industries. In addition to being awarded PMP certification in 2003, he also earned a Masters Certification in Project Management from Villanova, and was JD Edwards Project Manager of the Year.
As Vice President of Data Solutions and Information Strategy at PIMCO, Dr. Carl Salz is overseeing the rollout of the SEMARCHY platform for MDM and Data Governance. Previously, Dr. Salz held director level IT and Business Intelligence positions at Janus Capital Group and Charles Schwab & Co. He received his Bachelor in Management Information Systems from Greenville College (IL) and subsequently received his MBA and doctorate (Management in Organizational Leadership with a Specialization in Information Systems and Technology) from the University of Phoenix.
Lydia J. E. Reid joined American Family Insurance�s new Enterprise Data Management department in November 2013 as the first Metadata and Reference Data Manager. Since joining AmFam, Lydia has worked with I/S to implement and populate a centralized metadata repository tool, structured and begun to populate AmFam�s common business vocabulary, and hired a strong team to implement enterprise metadata management. For a short while Lydia also managed EDM�s Data Governance and Data Quality team until a permanent manager was brought on board. Lydia is also Secretary for and Board Member of the Data Governance Professionals Organization. Prior to working at AmFam, Lydia was a Metadata Analyst for UW Health's data warehousing division. As the first incumbent in that role, Lydia implemented UW�s metadata tool and initiated a metadata management process. Lydia spent the majority of her early career at the National Archives in Washington, DC where she was the product owner of the agency's first centralized, descriptive catalog for all the Archives' historical records. While at the National Archives, Lydia led the effort to establish metadata standards and represented the Archives on several national and international metadata standards� committees. Lydia has a BA and MA in History from Washington and Lee University and the University of Virginia, respectively. She also has a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland.
Scott Cohanpour is an industry thought-leader and a frequent speaker on the topic of Information Management and Big Data Analytics. Mr. Cohanpour is currently the CDO and the Group Head of Master Data Management at one of the largest financial institutions in the world. He has received a number of industry recognitions and most recently the 2013 Gartner's MDM Excellence Award for his presentation on �Developing an RDM Road Map & Target Operating Model.� Mr. Cohanpour received his BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Hofstra University.

She works to enable businesses to trust their data and to understand that data is the glue that holds them together.
As VP of Enterprise Applications at Genesys, Kris Krishan is responsible for both internal and external facing corporate applications such as Netsuite, Salesforce, and Workday, as well as several other Cloud solutions.� Prior to Genesys, Mr. Krishan held executive IT roles at Rovi, Finaline Technologies, Macrovision, and IONA Technologies.� He received his second MS degree in Computer Science from California State University, Sacramento and has participated in the CIO Development Program / Information Technology at San Francisco State University.
As Chief Information Technology Officer, Sergio Carbone is responsible for the system design, integration, process flow, architecture and infrastructure at Vree Health. Recently, Mr. Carbone added MDM and Data Governance to his portfolio as the company re-engineered key internal and external facing customer processes. Prior to Vree Health, he held positions at Enterprise Architect, Senior Manager and Consultant at Ikea, SunGard, Sanofi-Aventis, Merck, AstraZeneca and IMS Health. Mr. Carbone received his BS in Management Information Systems from Gwynedd-Mercy College (Philadelphia, PA) and his MS in Information Science from Pennsylvania State University-Great Valley Graduate Center.
