    Ms. Askew joined Wingspan in 2011 as a Director of Quality, however her role quickly grew to include management of Wingspan�s Legal and Compliance departments, in cooperation with its General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. She monitors the constantly changing regulatory requirements, including tracking laws and regulations that affect organizational policies, and implements practices that ensure compliance.� She is a practicing attorney, licensed by the Texas Bar Association and sworn into the federal courts of the northern and eastern districts of Texas.Previously, she was an attorney in her own law office, a contract attorney with LandAmerica Title Company, and an attorney advisor in the U.S. Small Business Association Office of Disaster Assistance.� Prior to becoming an attorney, she had hands-on mortgage industry experience in loan closing with LandAmerica Onestop, and gained governmental perspective as a legislative assistant to a state legislator and while working in constituents� casework for a U.S. senator and Texas governor.Ms. Askew was educated at the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her B.A. in the double majors of government and history.� She earned her law degree at Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Ft. Worth, Texas.

    Joshua Franzel is the vice president of research for the Center for State and Local Government Excellence where he leads research initiatives on a range of public policy, finance, and management topics, often collaborating with organizations from the public, private, and academic sectors. He also works on public policy issues for the International City/County Management Association and oversees the development of the organization�s white papers.�Previously he worked for both the Delaware and Florida Legislatures and was a Presidential Management Fellow with the International Trade Administration and the Office of Management and Budget. His research has focused on state and local government management, public finance, pensions, healthcare, demographics, and innovation. Franzel is an adjunct professor�at American University, where he teaches graduate level courses on�state and local government. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration (& Policy) from American University in Washington, DC.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Bill handled middle market corporate and commercial real estate lending and workouts at several Boston commercial banks.Mr. Looney is a frequent panelist and speaker on the US loan sale market.� He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and law degree from Suffolk University Law School.

    Michael Goldring joined Avison Young in August 2012 as a Principal and member of the firm�s capital market groups. He is based in Avison Young�s New York City office.� At Avison Young, Goldring is focused on broadening coverage of the firm�s loan-sales platform by sourcing targeted product for strategic buyers as well as helping sellers find suitable buyers. His responsibilities include providing a negotiated trading platform for financial institutions and private capital that prefer confidential, off-market transactions.An industry veteran with 25 years of experience, Goldring specializes in private negotiated loan-sale transactions. He has extensive experience facilitating the sale of residential and commercial notes and loan portfolios on behalf of a wide variety of clients, including institutional owners, large and community/regional banking institutions, Funds, and both large and small private investors, including local niche investors.�Prior to joining Avison Young, Goldring was a Senior Vice-President at ICAP, the world�s largest global institutional financial broker, where he served as Desk Head and intermediary for whole-loan trading.Before joining ICAP, Goldring was a regional banker in the Correspondent Lending Division at Countrywide Home Loans. He also previously served as a transaction manager to build the Correspondent Warehouse program at Morgan Stanley.     Ira Platt has a demonstrated track record of identifying, negotiating and executing Specialty Finance transactions that deliver superior returns while using structuring tools to substantially mitigate the risk of loss. As a Managing Director at RBS Greenwich Capital from 1997 through 2008, he directed a staff of 12 while leading the Non-Mortgage Principal Finance business in committing almost $3.7 billion in capital and generating a 24.1% IRR on deployed funds. Mr. Platt�s investment mandate covered a wide range of consumer and commercial finance sub-sectors and included debt financing (with numerous distressed and pre/post-petition bankruptcy financing transactions), asset portfolio acquisitions, equity investments and other asset-backed securities transactions.Since leaving RBS, Mr. Platt has been an active investor in the specialty finance space, leading numerous successful investments in company platforms, financings and asset acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Platt presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and/or an advisor to several specialty finance organizations and, from 2009- 2011 was the Co-Portfolio Manager for the Rosemont TALF Opportunity Fund, which returned a 17% net IRR to investors from inception through wind down. Prior to his tenure at RBS, Mr. Platt was an executive officer of The Aegis Consumer Funding Group, a publicly traded automotive finance concern and was employed by CS First Boston with responsibility for the design and execution of front-end trading systems to support international securities transactions.Mr. Platt is presently the Board Chairman of the Fairfield Theatre Company and received an M.B.A. from Duke University�s Fuqua School of Business in 1991 and a B.A. from Emory University in 1985.

    Mr. North is currently the EVP of Capital Markets �here at�Porthos Portfolio LLC . Mr. North began his career in the mortgage industry in 1996 with Metropolitan Financial serving as general manager of internal operations. In 2002 Mr. North was the founding partner of CTR Mortgage Group, an Orange County based mortgage brokerage firm. Most recently, in 2008 Mr. North served as an asset manager at Kondaur Capital Corporation. In 2010 Kondaur Capital promoted Mr. North to Portfolio Manager of Trading. In this roll Kish developed an expertise in fair market values that includes the acquisition, re-sale, servicing, and executing work out strategies in the distressed mortgage note space. Today, Mr. North works with National Banks, Hedge Funds and trading desks and off market assets, acquiring distressed and re-performing Notes/ real property for�PPT. Kish North previously held mortgage origination licenses in California, Utah, Arizona, Ohio and Florida.
