Steve is a Toronto area resident whose MDM journey began in 2000 as a founding architect of Delos, which developed the core MDM product that became Siperian, and finally Informatica MDM. Before that he was a data guy who designed and implemented solutions for large enterprises in a variety of industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications.

Jeff Slatter is currently Associate Vice President at TD Bank Group based out of Toronto, Canada.  TD is a top ten North American financial institution where Jeff oversees the Financial Application and Master/Meta Data group.  Jeff has over ten years of experience with major financial application role outs and support functions.  Prior to TD, Jeff worked 8 years at Franklin Templeton overseeing the strategic initiatives group.

Cameron Price, Principal and General Manager of CBIG Consulting’s Asia-Pacific region, is a well-known authority in the area Big Data and Business Intelligence, focused on building organisations that manage and leverage information as a competitive differentiator, for driving innovation and growth. Cameron brings a unique combination of thought leadership, strategic planning, business development skills, and entrepreneurial flair, coupled with deep technical understanding within the Big Data/Business Intelligence field.

John Poonnen is the Director of Product Engineering, Infosario Data Factory for Quintiles Inc., a leading contract research organization based in Research Triangle Park, NC. He is a business and technology leader with a broad range of expertise in information systems and over 30 years of software development, architecture, product management, and systems engineering experience. His current focus on advanced analytics, information architecture, master data management and software product engineering, coupled with his expertise in health and life sciences, financial and government domains uniquely qualifies him to be a business change agent and technology adoption evangelist.John holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from the Indian Institute of Science and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is an active professional member of NC SIM, NCHICA and has been an active speaker at the BCBS Information Management Symposium, Triangle Area Analytics Group, NC SIM, TDWI and is an advisory board member for the Professional Health Sciences Master’s program at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.

Dean Gonsowski, Recommind’s associate general counsel & senior director of Business Development, works closely with the company's key enterprise customers, partners and government agencies to help them leverage Recommind's predictive coding platform, with a particular emphasis on information governance. A former litigator, general counsel and associate general counsel, Dean Gonsowski has more than 15 years’ experience in litigation, e-discovery and information governance consulting at companies including Symantec, Clearwell Systems, Daticon, Navigant Consulting, Inc. and Fios, Inc. Dean can be reached on Twitter at @dean_gonsowski.

Patricia Vessey is Director of Merchandising Services for Best Buy Co. Inc. She is responsible for all of the external electronic data interchange (EDI) communication with vendors and carriers, digital operations, foundation data management which includes item information within the Retek merchandising system, product information management, Global Data Synch and Vendor Portal. She has been with Best Buy, based in Richfield, MN for 15 years. Ms. Vessey is involved in the GS1 industry standards groups for electronic communication of data and is several on several Strategic User Councils, including being an IBM Champion. Prior to Best Buy, Patricia worked for HomeBase and Carter Hawley Hale, both retailers in California. She graduated from UC Berkeley.

Tony Fisher is the SAS General Manager responsible for providing field enablement, product direction and outreach for the SAS Data Management suite of technologies.  Prior to this role, Tony was president and CEO of DataFlux, a SAS Company. In his years at DataFlux and at SAS, he has guided the company through tremendous growth establishing market-leading data quality and data integration solutions. Tony is also a featured speaker and author about emerging trends in data quality, data integration and master data management, and how better management of data leads to business optimization. Tony is a native of North Carolina and earned a degree in computer science and mathematics from Duke University.

Tina Rosario is a business strategy professional with over 25 years of experience in IT, business process re-engineering, change management and enterprise data management. During her 12 years at SAP, Tina has held executive positions in business operations, consulting services and corporate strategy. Her expertise ranges from building best practice information governance programs, driving data technology development and managing teams of data stewards and operations. Prior to SAP Tina was a partner at McKinsey and with that experience initiated the business transformation consulting organization at SAP with a focus on bridging the gap between technology implementation and business strategy.

Matthew M. Slavonic is a lead data governance analyst at UPMC and was one of the inaugural members of the newly formed Data Governance Office at UPMC. He has 11 years of experience in internal audit and data governance, covering technologies including master data management, data profiling, policy creation and business glossary.
