As a consultant or fractional chief growth officer, her areas of focus include marketing, business development, product management/innovation and client experience.

    Dr. David Crabtree grew up in a small mining and farming community in Virginia. He spent many hours shadowing physicians at his local community hospital and witnessed the impact of drugs on his hometown. Dr. Crabtree received an academic scholarship to attend East Tennessee State University, where he graduated summa cum laude and with University Honors. He went on to attend ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine, a school nationally recognized for rural medicine and primary care training. He also used this time to work in DC on health policy and education issues for U.S. Senator Mark Warner.

    After earning his MD with AOA honors, Dr. Crabtree headed west for his residency training at the University of California – San Diego. After completing an internship in UCSD’s Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Crabtree began training in preventive medicine in UCSD’s Department of Family Medicine & Public Health. After residency, Dr. Crabtree completed fellowship training in addiction medicine at the University of Utah.

    Dr. Crabtree is board certified in both preventive medicine and addiction medicine and works full time in addiction medicine. Outside of medicine, Dr. Crabtree spends time with friends and his Shiba Inu dog.

    Ben Siewert joined International Planning Alliance in November 2019 after a 12-year career as an audit and accounting professional with KPMG, The Siegfried Group and JP Morgan Chase. He holds his CPA as well as his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University.

    Siewert focuses his practice on working with families, as well as fellow mid-career professionals.  He enjoys explaining financial concepts and decisions to his clients using the athletic principles he has learned over the course of 30 years as an amateur athlete.  Every athlete works with a coach to enhance their strengths and improve their weaknesses — finances deserve the same care.

    Steve Prymas has over twenty years of Professional Liability experience. He was previously the Vice President, Specialty Lines Manager and Global Chief Underwriting Officer of Cyber for Gen Re where he was charged with setting strategy and growing specialty lines across Treaty and Facultative reinsurance. While at The Hartford, Steve was responsible for strategic direction, underwriting staff, and P&L of The Hartford’s management & professional liability business. His experience also includes the introduction of predictive modeling, objective risk tiering, third party data proxies, online quoting and automated cross-selling. He also chaired The Hartford's enterprise-wide Cyber Working Group.

    In addition to his roles at HFP and Gen Re, Steve has spoken at and chaired several PLUS and Advisen events.

    Steve’s passion for insurance started at the early age of 13 when he made change for homeowners’ payments at the petty cash register of a local insurance agency.

    Steve is a graduate of Hamilton College and member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.
