Tad Philipp is Director of Commercial Real Estate Research at Moody's Investors Service. Prior to re-joining Moody's in March 2011 he was Chief Risk Officer of CW Financial Services (a special servicer, lender and investment manager) as well as head of its CW Risk Management Solutions advisory unit. In his prior tenure at Moody's (1991-2008) Mr. Philipp held several analytical and management positions relating to the rating and surveillance of commercial real estate backed securities, as well as the development of quantitative tools to track and analyze credit risk. Prior to joining Moody's in 1991 Mr. Philipp had 10 years of commercial real estate related experience with a life insurance company, a developer and an investment manager.Mr. Philipp has a Bachelor of Arts from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University.
Jennifer Creech is the president and CEO of InHouse Inc. With over 23 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Creech is an expert in the appraisal process, collateral valuation methods and appraisal regulations such as the Home Valuation Code of Conduct, FHA�s appraisal guidelines and the GSEs Collateral Data Delivery program. Creech conceptualized and was instrumental in the development of InHouse Connexions, the company�s appraisal process management technology that enables users to manage a virtually limitless number of appraisers and appraisal management companies with efficiency and ease. She also co-created the policies for InHouse Solutions, the company�s appraisal management company.
As a Senior Vice President with the Strategic Alliance Group, Derrick Logan is the driving force behind REO Allegiance business development activities, marketing strategies, advertising and the cultivation of corporate business relations. With a distinguished career in sales and business development, Derrick brings the experience of working with companies such as Prudential, Adobe Systems, Lotus and IBM. Derrick was instrumental in crafting the strategy that led to the creation of REO Allegiance in 1997, of which he is a founding member. Keeping pace with the REO industry, he is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, The Women Council of NAR, The National Association of Real Estate Brokers, and The NJ Association of Minority Real Estate Professionals. Kathy Cogan is the AVP of Account Management for Safeguard Properties. In this role, Kathy works with new and existing REO clients on all aspects of their interaction with Safeguard, from on-boarding to performance metrics and special projects. Kathy joined Safeguard Properties in 2003 as part of the inaugural Manager in Training program. Since that time, she has held several positions throughout the company, which have helped to develop her extensive industry knowledge base. In late 2009, Kathy moved into the role of Director, REO Client Account Management, and was promoted to her current position in September of 2011. Kathy is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
Bill King is the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Asset and Risk Management of Carrington Holding Company, LLC. In this newly-created position, Mr. King manages the company's two investment-focused business units, Carrington Capital Management, LLC, an alternative asset management firm focused on control-based investing in the US real estate, mortgage and fixed income markets, and Carrington Investment Services, LLC, a registered broker-dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Mr. King brings over 20 years of experience in securitized products, and a broad range of trading knowledge including mortgages, asset-backed securities, collateralized-debt obligations and commercial mortgage backed securities. Immediately prior to joining Carrington, Mr. King was head of Securitized Products at Citadel LLC. Prior to that, Mr. King was co-head of Global Securitized Products at JP Morgan, where he previously held other executive positions, including head of US Securitized Products, head of Mortgage Trading and head of pass-through trading. Mr. King also served on the mortgage trading desks at both Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Merrill Lynch.Mr. King holds a bachelor degree in Finance from Syracuse University and an MBA from New York University.
