    Jeffrey Disterhoft has served in the position of CEO at the University of Iowa Community Credit Union since October, 1999. Mr. Disterhoft received a Bachelor of Arts in May, 1990 from Buena Vista College in Storm Lake. He is a certified public accountant and graduate of CUNA Management School, Athens, Georgia and has also been designated a Certified Credit Union Executive. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa Henry B. Tippie School of Management in 2003. Mr. Disterhoft’s work experience includes tenure at KPMG Peat Marwick as well as McGladrey & Pullen as a CPA specializing in financial institution’s audit work spanning from September, 1990 until he was hired by the UICCU in May, 1995 for the role of Vice-President of Finance. In 1997, he was promoted to Senior Vice-President of Finance & Administration. Since taking over as President, the UICCU has grown from just under $200 million in assets to over $1.8 billion today. New services have been provided for the membership during this time, including Wealth Management, Trust, Brokerage, and Commercial Services. During this period of healthy growth and service expansion, the credit union’s staff turnover ratio has been reduced by over 70%, while earnings have increased more than tenfold.

    Robin Kolvek is CEO at EPL, a credit union service organization providing technology solutions to the industry.

    McNamara is a senior enrollment strategist at Standard Insurance Company (The Standard), and has worked in the voluntary benefits industry for more than 15 years. In his current role, McNamara is responsible for developing and implementing enrollment capabilities and solutions. In addition, he designs and develops enrollment event strategies that target the unique needs of employers. He also actively monitors and identifies market trends (both products and services) to drive new business opportunities. McNamara is a key advocate for The Standard’s broker and technology partners to align business road maps for future capabilities.

    Higgins is an associate in Frost Brown Todd's regulated business group. His focus on the health care industry provides him an opportunity to advise business and health care entities in corporate matters, formation and structuring, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.

    Bill Gaynor is a U.S. Healthcare Market Executive at MarkLogic who has led and managed strategy and growth initiatives for industry leaders such as Oracle, First Data, JPMorgan Chase, McKesson and Cambia Health.

    Jon Baron is managing director of the professional segment of the tax and accounting business of Thomson Reuters, which he joined in 1992. Prior to his current position, he served as president of professional software and services, and vice president of development, where he was responsible for the design and development of all professional products and services. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Siena College and an MBA from Boston University.

    Schechter is an attorney in the health law and corporate/business practice groups at Frost Brown Todd LLC. She assists clients, particularly those in the health care industry, with a range of business issues including mergers and acquisitions, vendor and physician contracts, and compliance with Medicare/Medicaid conditions of participation and other regulatory schemes.
