    Louise Canter has more than thirty-five years of experience in the insurance industry as a Commercial Property & Casualty producer. She has been with USI, formerly Patterson//Smith Associates, for over thirty years. Louise was a principal with Patterson//Smith Associates, on their Board of Directors, and a member of their Management Committee. Over the years, she has developed a large commercial book of accounts primarily in the areas of property management, non-profit associations, high tech firms, and social service agencies. Her expertise includes Directors & Officers, Errors & Omissions, and Cyber Liability policies, as well as Professional Liability for complex accounts. In 2003-04, Canter served as national President of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. This culminated more than 25 years of volunteer work within the association, on a local, state, and national level. She has chaired the Southern Agents Conference, the Southern Agents International Conference in Athens, Greece, and served as President, then as State National Director, for the Metropolitan Washington Association of Independent Insurance Agents. She has been awarded the Metropolitan Washington’s Agent of the Year Award and received a Presidential Citation from the Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. In addition, she has served on the board of the DC Chapter of CPCU. She currently serves as Secretary of the Metropolitan Washington Service Corporation and is also a member of the Finance/Fundraising Committee for the DC Chapter of CPCU 2012 Convention Committee. Canter holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Risk Management degrees. She is a graduate of Fordham University, Bronx, NY with a B.A. in History. She is a life-long resident of Bethesda, Maryland, where she resides with her husband, Bob. They have two grown sons, Christopher and Matthew. Her hobbies include renovating old houses, golf, and travel.

    Kellee Irwin is the VP of Personal Insurance at ICBC – a Crown corporation in British Columbia that provides mandatory basic insurance and optional additional insurance to all drivers in BC. Her division creates the rates that BC drivers pay for both and the products that deliver them. She recently celebrated her 5th anniversary with ICBC, after starting in 2006 as the first VP of Underwriting. In her current role, she leads ICBC in redefining their pricing and product strategy by moving to a more driver-based model vs. vehicle-based. She also leads Vehicle Registration and Licensing on behalf of the province. Irwin gained her knowledge and experience through progressively senior roles in different insurance companies. She has been an avid motorcyclist since she was five years old, growing up in her dad’s family motorcycle shop. An active volunteer, Irwin is the President of the Canadian Heritage Motorcycle Museum Foundation and a board member of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) and the BC chapter of the Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC BC). This past winter, Irwin became a Mountain Safety ski volunteer at Whistler Blackcomb – patrolling, and enjoying, the slopes every Saturday!

    Paige Beck, CPA, became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in August 2007. In this position, Ms. Beck oversees all financial activities for the organization including preparing financial reports, summaries and forecasts for business growth, and tracks the general economic outlook for Maryland business as it relates to IWIF. She also provides strategic leadership to help ensure the continued financial strength of the organization. During her 17-year tenure with the Towson-based insurer, Ms. Beck has served as head of IWIF’s Internal Audit department and as Assistant Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining IWIF, she was employed with the Office of Legislative Audits.She is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and a graduate of Towson University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

    Tricia Mackechnie is Senior Vice President, CIO of Talcott and Corporate Operations, Technology and Integrated Services at The Hartford. Mackechnie joined the company in 2007. She has served as Vice President, CIO of Commercial Lines where she was accountable for the Commercial Lines portfolio including Small Commercial, Middle Market, Specialty and Group Benefits segments.Prior to her current assignment, Mackechnie served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Technology where, in addition to providing leadership and oversight of the enterprise sourcing efforts, she was accountable for the IT strategy and implementation of a portfolio consisting of $175M annual spend including strategic investment, maintenance and production support.In her current role, Mackechnie is accountable for the integrated operations and technology for Talcott Resolution, The Hartford’s annuity run-off business, and the management, maintenance, and development of the systems applications that support The Hartford’s enterprise functions including HIMCO, Enterprise Risk Management, Finance, and Human Resources. Her role also encompasses leading Digital Analytics and technology quality assurance along with shared operational services, which includes billing, licensing and agency interface services.Prior to joining The Hartford, Mackechnie was the head of project management for US Customer Service at ING. In her leadership role, she oversaw strategic planning, department budget, project staffing, project office functions, and the management and execution of program implementations.Before her time at ING, she spent 10 years at Accenture for the Financial Services Industry – Insurance division.Mackechnie holds a BS in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
