Pawel A. Stefanski is an executive in charge of Value Creation on the IBM Global Insurance Industry team. In this cross-organizational and worldwide role, he works with IBM teams and IBM Business Partners to develop and bring to market innovative solutions for major insurance companies. He is a member of the WW Insurance Leadership team, and he co-leads a number of industry initiatives, including IBM insurance standards strategy, Smarter Insurance, integrated risk management and core insurance transformation.Pawel has a M.Sc. in Computer Science, and has completed PhD coursework (ABD) in Machine Learning at George Mason University. He holds PMP and CA-AM designations.

Dr. Belhe serves as a Chief Enterprise Business Analytics Scientist at Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. In this role, he is responsible for providing strategic direction to the organization towards the advancements in analytics . He is in particular responsible for identification, oversight and championing of Business Analytics solutions.Upendra’s expertise in solving complex business problems leveraging multiple computational and statistical techniques has allowed him to serve as an analytics leader for 17 years. Upendra is experienced in driving actionable business insights with the use of descriptive and predictive modeling using advanced statistical methods, optimization and machine learning techniques as well as building and mentoring analytics teams across the geographies.Prior to joining Chubb, Dr. Belhe was a National Director of Information Analytics Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he helped clients to design and execute their most critical business decision based on appropriate use of data and analytics. Prior to PwC, Upendra was leading research group at the Hartford Financial Group, where he helped many Insurance business segments with the use sophisticated modeling techniques leveraging on internal as well as external data.During his tenure as Director of Research, Dr. Belhe published his Insurance analytics work for the outside world consumption and was a repeated recipient of the Chairman’s inventor recognition award. Upendra holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of Iowa and has published in several international journals.

Eileen C. McDonnell is president and chief executive officer of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. She joined Penn Mutual in 2008 as executive vice president and chief marketing officer with an impressive 20-year corporate career in the life insurance industry.Appointed to the Penn Mutual Board of Trustees in 2010, Ms. McDonnell also serves on the Board of Managers of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Penn Mutual, as well as the Board of Directors of LL Global, Inc. She is a member of the Financial Services subcommittee of the American Council of Life Insurers. In 2012, Ms. McDonnell was named vice chair of the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania.  She is also a national advisor to Vision 2020, an initiative of Drexel University College of Medicine Institute for Women’s Health and Leadership.Before joining Penn Mutual, Ms. McDonnell founded ExecMPower, a strategic planning and executive coaching consultancy. Previously, she was president of New England Financial, a wholly owned subsidiary of MetLife, and senior vice president of the Guardian Life Insurance Company. Ms. McDonnell is a former member of the Master of Science in Management faculty at The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa., where she held the newly endowed chair for Women and Financial Services.A graduate of Molloy College, Rockville Centre, N.Y., Ms. McDonnell majored in mathematics and computer science, and received an honorary doctor of laws (LL.D.) degree in 2011. She earned her MBA in finance and investments from Adelphi University, Garden City, N.Y.

Laura holds an honors mathematics degree from the University of Western Ontario, is a life and health actuary (FSA), and holds the chartered financial analyst designation (CFA). Laura received her MBA, with a concentration in Strategic and Entrepreneurship Management, from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where she graduated with several university and peer awards. She was also part of the team that won first prize in the Wharton Business Plan Competition in 2003 with a pet insurance company concept.Prior to her MBA, she worked for The Canada Life Assurance Company in Toronto, Canada, and Dublin, Ireland, in a number of leadership roles, including asset-liability management, strategic planning, and business development. After graduating with her MBA and co-founding Embrace, she became the first pet insurance actuary in the US, bringing an integrative actuarial approach to a complex and undervalued product. Laura is in her fourth term as Chairman of the Board of the North American Pet Health Insurance Association, promoting pet insurance awareness and education in the US, and a “Women in Insurance Leadership” winner in 2012 awarded by Insurance Networking News.Laura is a wife and mother in her second job, and when she isn't thinking about family or pets, Laura delights in experiencing different cultures though food and travel and allowing others a view into her life through her multiple blogs.

Nationwide Experience:Patti is currently the Senior HR business partner for the following offices: Chief Financial Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Investments, Nationwide Realty Investors and Nationwide Advantage Mortgage. She has been in this position 8 years. Prior to this position, Patti has been the leader of the recruiting, relocation, performance improvement, training and development functions at Nationwide. She joined Nationwide in 1999.Pre-Nationwide Experience:Prior to joining Nationwide, Patti served almost ten years with Bank One Corporation. Her last position with Bank One was vice president of the Western U.S. for recruiting and staffing in Phoenix, Arizona. She managed a large multi-state recruiting function.� She also was the VP/HR generalist leader for the Eastern Region Retail bank in 3 states with 7,000 employees.� She previously worked for Federated Dept. Stores and was a general manager for several years in the hospitality industry, leading large restaurant operations with 100+ employees under her direct supervision and P&L accountability.�Education:Patti holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and a Master�s of Social Work degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
