As the Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich Global Corporate in North America, Sabrina Hart oversees the underwriting of all corporate lines of business and is responsible for the management of all market-facing underwriting functions.Sabrina joined Zurich in 1997 from Marsh USA in Atlanta, where she had served as Vice President and Southeast Healthcare Practice Leader. In 1999 she was asked to lead Zurich�s Healthcare Institutional Profit Center, a post she held until being named Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer of Zurich North America Specialties in 2006. In 2008 Sabrina was named the head of Risk Operations for Group Risk Management at Zurich Financial Services in Switzerland, where she was responsible for driving the Group�s operational risk and control activities.� In 2011 Sabrina returned to the U.S. to become Global Corporate in North America�s Chief Operating Officer.Sabrina holds a Bachelor�s Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she now serves on the Board of Visitors. Susie Keisler-Munro is Senior Vice President and Chief of Operations at Assurity. Susie graduated with Highest Distinction from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1985, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and economics. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Susie gained membership in the American Academy of Actuaries in 1990 and attained her Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries in 1994.Susie�s career at Assurity started in 1987 with predecessor company, Woodmen Accident and Life, where she began as an actuarial assistant. Over the years, she has held various actuarial positions, eventually holding the title of Vice President and Actuary, supervising all product development and product management activities for the company. Susie�s role expanded to include other operational functions in 1997. She assumed her current role as Chief of Operations in 2007, providing oversight and leadership of various operational functions including Product Management, Information Technology, Underwriting, Claims, Employer Sponsored Services, New Business Services, Client Services and Project Management.Susie has aided a number of community and professional organizations and boards over the years and currently serves on the Board of Governors of Nebraska Wesleyan University and the Board of the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools.Susie and her husband Mike have three children, David 20, Frances 15 and John 8.
Alice Gannon is Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary, USAA Property & Casualty Insurance Group. P&C Actuary is responsible for pricing of all USAA P&C lines of business, all lines actuarial research and P&C financial management of catastrophes including reinsurance.Alice is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, an honorary member of the Institute of Actuaries of the United Kingdom, and also holds the designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter.Alice has served on several industry and professional boards and committees. She is currently serving as the Chair of the Board of the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety and as a member of the board of the Highway Loss Data Institute. For the past 4 years she served on the board of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association, appointed by the Texas Commissioner of Insurance.She served as President of the Casualty Actuarial Society from 1999-2000 and Chairman of the CAS Board of Directors in 2001. Appointed by the California Insurance Commissioner in February 2001, Alice served as a member of the California Earthquake Authority Advisory Panel until early 2007. She served as a member of the Insurance Research Council Advisory Board from 1989 to 2005, serving as its Chairman from 1998-2000. Alice was appointed as the Actuary to the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund Advisory Council and the Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology in 1996 and served in that capacity until December 1998. In 1994, she was appointed by then-Texas Governor Ann Richards to serve on the Select Committee on Rate and Policy Form Regulation. Alice served on the Texas Insurance Advisory Association Actuarial Committee from 1986 to 1988; the Automobile Insurance Plans Service Office Rating Committee in 1987 and 1988, and has been a member of the Southwest Actuarial Forum since its inception in 1985, serving as President in 1990.
Christopher Morkunas worked as Actuary at Safety Insurance, a small regional carrier located in Boston, from 2005 to 2013. Mr. Bode�s specialties include: insurance related to operations, markets and product development, underwriting, and technology.He was previously President at e-MGA (2008-2009), where he oversaw all operations and marketing, led a team in creating a no-cost, web-based software for the General Agent, and worked with insurance markets in the US and London to supply products for distribution.From 1998 to 2008 Mr. Bode worked as CEO/President at Insure Information Technology dba e-bode Systems, where he led a group that conceived and implemented a new technology company that pioneered web-based insurance systems, raised capital through the sale of stocks, established a Board of Directors, and created products/ furnished services for insurance entities in the following areas: insurance companies, brokers, and off shore type companies.He was at Georgia Mutual Commercial Casualty Insurance Company as Vice President (1995-1998) after working as Assistant Product Manager at Bankers Insurance (1989-1995). Mr. Bode has spoken at several insurance industry events and universities. He is a volunteer at the American Red Cross where he served as a disaster logistics specialist. Mr. Bode received a BS in Social Science Studies, with a concentration on Economics and Political Science from Florida State University.
