    Michelle Bonner Techel heads the Digital Payments team for Consumer Financial Services (CFS), managing chip cards, digital wallets and payment security with a focus on the new uses of data and technology. Michelle’s team is leading the conversion of our consumer credit cardholders to the EMV/Chip Card standard. Her team also led the work of CFS to bring our partnerships with Apple and Android and the respective launches of Apple Pay and Android Pay to the marketplace. Michelle also plays a leadership role on the Payment Security Taskforce, an industry group encompassing financial institutions, merchants and networks.In 2012, Michelle joined the CFS leadership team as the Head of Strategy & Development. In this newly created role, Michelle was responsible for Strategy and Planning, Digital Payments, New Business Development and Customer Experience. She built out this new set of functions and brought in new talent from across Wells Fargo as well as from within the financial services industry before moving into her current role.Prior to joining CFS, Michelle held a number of key roles throughout Wells Fargo with a focus on digital channels. She served as both the Head of Consumer Product Strategy & Support and as the lead for Online Sales and Marketing for Deposits and Investments in the in the Digital Channels Group. She also led the Information-Based Marketing team in the Wealth Management Group.Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Michelle was a consultant for McKinsey & Co. serving media and private equity clients. Michelle also worked at the U.S. Treasury Department as a Senior Advisor and Director of Planning, where she helped with the roll-out of the first currency redesign in a generation. Prior to the Treasury Department, Michelle worked in The White House as an advance person in the communications department and was the Director of the Media Center for the Inaugural Committee.Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Masters in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She also attended Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.

    Christine Duhaime, a Canadian lawyer specializing in financial regulation, is the founder and executive director of the�Digital Finance Institute, a FinTech think tank that is launching a digital bank for refugees to address financial inclusion.

    Catherine Murchie is senior vice president of Processing and Enterprise Security and Network Solutions for North America. In this role, she has responsibility for enabling the market strategies for network, processing and safety & security solutions, including EMV or chip cards, for the U.S. and Canada.Prior to her current position, Ms. Murchie was a senior vice president in Investor Relations for two years, where she was responsible for managing relationships with the financial investment community. Before taking on that role, she led the global product management and commercialization of MasterCard’s contactless solutions, helping to lay the groundwork for today, when MasterCard contactless payments are accepted in 70+ countries around the world and support mobile NFC payments.Ms. Murchie has been involved with financial technology throughout her career at MasterCard with a focus on strategy, standardization and market commercialization. She was a founding board member of The Mobile Payment Forum, a cross-industry consortium focused on the development of industry standards for mobile payments. In addition, she was a member of the EMVCo contactless working group supporting interoperability and acceptance of secure payments for new channels.

    Barbara Ross is a Director in Card IT and a member of the Partnerships Leadership Team.� Ross is responsible for IT strategy and investment execution for Loss Mitigation Partnerships, and Retail Partnerships.� Ross also leads the Technology Development Program for the Chicagoland Area, Ross has transformed our Chicagoland program to give back to the greater Technology environments, internally and externally.� Ross is also the sponsor for the Vanderbilt Program for Capital One.��� Ross began her career in a variety of technology roles including software engineering, database administration, and a variety of technology leadership roles within multiple industries including Manufacturing Engineering, Oil and Gas, HealthCare, and Aerospace Engineering.� Prior to joining Capital One, Ross was the CIO for a Financial Servicing company providing Bankruptcy and Estate Solutions to major Financial Institutions.� She led the efforts to expand the company to encompass a global footprint, establishing a location in India for servicing and software engineering.� Since joining Capital One in late 2013, Ross has held a variety of Technology leadership roles in Richmond, Virginia and the Chicagoland Greater Area.� Ross has developed her knowledge of the Card business and has distinguished herself as an innovative technical leader combining her previous experiences and expertise with the adaptive thinking and culture within Capital One. �

    Jason Meller is a Chief Security Strategist at FireEye responsible for overseeing strategic projects that support FireEye's partner relationships.� Jason has spent his career specializing in conceptualizing, building, and deploying security tools that serve as a force multiplier for security professionals from experts to novices. Prior to his current role, Jason was lead product engineer on FireEye’s Intelligence Center and launched FireEye’s FaaS portal. Before joining FireEye/Mandiant, Jason was a Cyber Threat Analyst at GE’s Computer Incident Response Team and a co-founder of the continuous cloud security monitoring company, Threat Stack.

    Chuck Fagan, III joined PSCU as CEO in April 2015 after serving as CEO of Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) since January 2013. Fagan’s 28-year career in the credit union industry began in 1988 as the card services manager for Virginia Credit Union. In 1997, Fagan joined PSCU as the company’s SVP/eastern region manager and in 2004 was named EVP, Chief Sales Officer and helped pioneer the company’s role in bringing emerging payments technologies to credit unions. Fagan holds a BSBA in finance from Longwood University in Farmville, Va.

    Ben Knieff is a senior analyst with Aite Group, specializing in fraud detection, identity verification and authentication, anti-money laundering/Bank Secrecy Act compliance, and investigations management. He brings to Aite Group over 15 years of product management and product marketing experience in Know Your Customer/due-diligence management, transaction monitoring, sanctions/OFAC compliance, account-origination fraud, online fraud, ATM fraud, and identity theft.Prior to joining Aite Group, Mr. Knieff worked with major financial services firms such as FIS and Actimize. He has consulted with financial institutions across the globe, helping to merge technology with business objectives to improve financial crime management programs’ efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. He also founded an independent consulting firm focused on helping community banks and credit unions to better manage financial crime and compliance. Mr. Knieff has presented on fraud and AML at industry conferences the world over, and he is frequently quoted in mass-media and industry publications such as American Banker, Bank Info Security, The Times of London, Forbes, The New York Times, and Wall Street & Technology.Mr. Knieff has visited 31 countries on six continents for both business and pleasure, and is very slowly learning Hindi alongside his baby daughter.
