Andrew E. Ziesmer is General Manager of the Best Buy relationship for Citi Retail Services, a leading provider of private label and co-branded consumer and commercial credit card products across the United States. Retail Services also provides retail industry expertise, including transaction data analytics, and fully integrated marketing and loyalty programs. The business services millions of accounts for many iconic brands, including Best Buy, ExxonMobil, Macy's, Sears, Shell, and The Home Depot, among others.Since February 2013, Mr. Ziesmer has led integration of this important new portfolioand partner into the Retail Services business. He was instrumental in its conversion and on-boarding, which was completed in record time. Ongoing, he is responsible for financial success, operational excellence, strong risk management, partner relationship, and ensuring proper team culture for the Best Buy card program.From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Ziesmer led our more than $15 billion private label and co-brand credit relationship with Sears Holdings Corporation. Working through the depth of the financial crisis, he and his team maintained and subsequently strengthened that relationship with improved merchant integration, introduced lifecycle marketing and invigorated store associate engagement. Under Mr. Ziesmer�s leadership, Citi received a �Partner in Progress� award from Sears in recognition of the team�s commitment to excellence.Mr. Ziesmer joined Citi in 2002 as The Home Depot portfolio�s first Field Services Manager. In that role, he recruited and trained six directors and 68 relationship managers for the start-up, and subsequently went on to lead his own team of 10, serving more than 260 stores in 12 states. Mr. Ziesmer partnered with The Home Depot management to drive a culture of card usage and credit-based selling to improve in-store results. During Mr. Ziesmer�s four years in this expanding role, he routinely exceeded business goals for sales, new accounts and service. His outstanding performance was rewarded with a promotion to Chief of Staff for the Citi/Sears portfolio in early 2007, and he was named Chief Marketing Officer shortly afterward. Mr. Ziesmer also served as Site President for Citi�s Elk Grove Village, IL location for two years.� ���Prior to joining Citi, Mr. Ziesmer was with Conseco Finance from 1996�2002. Even earlier in his career, he led marketing and account management, managed P&L and multimillion-dollar budgets, oversaw the entire Menards private label credit card relationship, worked at GE Capital supporting the Montgomery Ward portfolio, and more.
