Bill Cheney is the president and CEO of the Washington, DC.-based Credit Union National Association. Cheney has played an active role in the credit union movement for more than 25 years, beginning in community-based and employee-based credit unions, then as a leader in the state association/league system and now as the leader of the national organization that represents credit unions of all sizes from every part of the United States.In addition to his role as president and CEO of CUNA, Cheney serves as president of the National Credit Union Foundation and president of the Credit Union House in Washington, D.C. He is active on the boards of the Consumer Federation of America, the National Cooperative Business Association and the Filene Research Institute.Cheney became president and CEO of CUNA in 2010, succeeding former U.S. Rep. Daniel A. Mica as leader of the association. Before joining CUNA, Cheney was president and CEO of the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues.Cheney's credit union experience also includes senior management positions at Security Service Federal Credit Union in Texas and Xceed Financial Credit Union (formerly Xerox Employees Federal Credit Union) in California, where he was president and CEO.He currently represents the U.S. on the Blue Ribbon Commission on Co-operative Capital for the International Cooperative Alliance. Previously, Cheney was chair of the International CEO Roundtable for the World Council of Credit Unions, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Western CUNA Management School, a board member of the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, Treasurer of the American Association of Credit Union Leagues and a director on the board of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross.Cheney earned his BBA at the University of Texas. He completed the Advanced Leadership Institute at Harvard Business School and the CUES Director's Leadership Institute at the London Business School and has been a guest lecturer at several universities.

He is responsible for underwriting, line management and other risk management activities for multiple products that Barclays has in the US. He also manages a consumer loan portfolio in South Africa � a joint venture between Barclays and a prominent South African retailer. Before joining Barclays, Jay has worked 9 years for Chase Card services in multiple functions both in Credit Risk and Marketing.Jay has a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Penn State University and holder of 3 patents in consumer finance. He has a special interest in data mining and econometric modeling of consumer behaviors using traditional and alternative data and methodologies. He has also published research papers in major peer reviewed journals in the US.

He currently leads PwC�s customer complaints management initiative for financial services industry.� KP has developed a customer complaints maturity framework, real-time voice analytics and social analytics solutions and a complaint management solution based on a leading cloud based software provider. He has helped several top FIs implement customer complaints policies, operating models, governance structures, and vendor risk management programs. KP also lead organizer for the PwC's Consumer Complaint Industry Forum that bring together the top FIs together every six months to brainstorm topic of CFPB and consumer complaints.
