    Nora Arpin is responsible for the strategy, development, compliance and client relationships of the Government Electronic Solutions team within Comerica Bank’s well established Public Sector & Specialized Services practice. Among her group’s responsibilities is the management of the U.S. Treasury’s Direct Express program which provides millions of Federal Benefit Recipients with electronic deposit of their benefits on a prepaid card. She has more than 40 years of dedicated banking experience, including 25 years of treasury management experience and 10 years of retail banking experience. Nora is a Board member of the National Branded Prepaid Card Association and the Electronic Funds Transfer Association. Previously, Nora managed Comerica’s Treasury Management Sales team, and most recently the bank’s Commercial Card team, with product, sales, customer service and profit-and-loss responsibility.Over the course of her distinguished banking career, Nora has been involved in many industry firsts. Under her proven leadership, Comerica moved from 54th to 11th among the largest card issuers nationwide, with the distinction of becoming the #1 Prepaid Card Issuer (The Nilson Report, 2007).Comerica Bank is a subsidiary of Comerica Incorporated (NYSE: CMA), a financial services company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and strategically aligned by three business segments: The Business Bank, The Retail Bank, and Wealth & Institutional Management.     Mario de Armas joined Walmart in January 2011 as the Senior Director of International Payments where his job is to leverage Walmart’s scale and global relationships to lower the cost of accepting payments in the 23 countries outside the US where Walmart operates. Prior to joining Walmart, Mr. de Armas spent seven years a The Home Depot where he managed their private label business for Canada, Mexico and China as well as working to address The Home Depot’s cost of bankcard credit and debit in the United States. In recent years, Mr. de Armas has been active in pushing for swipe fee reform both inside and outside the US as he lobbied congress in support of the Durbin Amendment and testified at the Canadian Competition Bureau’s tribunal against Visa and MasterCard. Mr. de Armas has also been active in pressing for interchange reform at the state level and has met with several state Attorneys General and has testified in hearings in both the Georgia and Florida State Houses. Prior to moving to the retail industry, Mr. de Armas spent over ten years in the credit card industry working for First USA / Bank One, (now JP Morgan Chase), Metris (now HSBC) and Juniper Bank (now Barclay Card) with a focus on Partnership, Event and Internet Marketing. Mr. de Armas is a native of South Carolina and he holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He has been active and held leadership roles in several organizations including Big Brothers /Big Sisters, National Society of Hispanic MBAs and HOGAR. Mario has recently relocated to Northwest Arkansas.

    Drago Dzerve has been working with merchants for more than a decade building fit for purpose payment solutions. This has included the earliest implementations of high speed connectivity and mobile payments through the adoption of end to end encryption and the latest alternative payment technologies being introduced in the industry today. Drago is a frequent speaker at trade shows and user groups, a contributor to www.mobilewaytopay.com and has been quoted in several industry publications. He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and graduated with honors from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fl.

    As Vice President, Self Service Customer Experience, Steve Gaskin has strategic responsibility for self service channels for including Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Telephone Banking and Automated Bank Machines. Previously, Steve was Vice President, Service Experience with national responsibility for developing and executing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty in Canadian branches. Most recently, Steve was Vice President, Customer Contact Center, including Canadian operations in Mexico.Steve is a graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University and York University. He is Past Chair of the Scotiabank United Way Campaign and is currently on the Advisory Board for the Business Management Program at Humber College in Toronto.
