    Edie Ashton joined The Carlyle Group in 2012 and serves as Principal, working as the Enterprise Information lead in the Global Technology & Solutions department reporting to the CIO. She is responsible for Data & Reporting, Application Integration (ESB/SOA), Digital/Web Portals, and Enterprise Application Development.� Prior to joining Carlyle Ms. Ashton worked at the Corporate Executive Board managing internal applications including the data warehouse team. Prior to that Ms. Ashton worked at Sprint Nextel as a lead member of the merger integration team and Nextel on data warehouse and business intelligence projects. Ms. Ashton received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Meridian Public Charter School in Washington DC.
