    With a myriad of extensive experience in the public school environment, and a product of public schools herself, Dr. Kelly Crook was named the first Female Superintendent of Del Valle ISD in December 2011. Her financial acumen and long range planning expertise stems from her experience serving for six years as the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations�and Director of Accountability�for Del Valle ISD. Dr. Crook’s background includes ESL classroom engagement�in the Dallas ISD and Frisco ISD, service as middle school�assistant principal in Leander ISD, and program specialist at the Texas Education Agency. �A native Austinite, she received her Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the Cooperative Superintendency Program at the University of Texas at Austin.�A fearless champion for her staff and students, Dr. Crook presides over a diverse�and�achievement-oriented district that serves�over 11,300 students on�15 campuses in southeast Travis County.

    Curt Beaulieu is Senior Counsel at Bracewell in Washington, D.C. He focuses on tax policy, providing advice on federal legislation and regulations.Prior to joining Bracewell, Mr. Beaulieu served for a decade on Capitol Hill working for several members in the House of Representatives and the Senate. During his tenure, he was Tax Counsel for the leaders of both tax-writing committees in Congress — the House Ways and Means Committee and the Senate Finance Committee.As Tax Counsel for the Senate Finance Committee, Mr. Beaulieu counseled on tax policy in a variety of legislation involving energy, financial services, transportation and health care.     In her role as the Director of the newly established Washington Office of the National Development Council (NDC), Jane Campbell is bringing the expertise of NDC’s forty years of experience working to bring capital to underserved communities – both urban and rural- into the federal public policy debate. NDC works in over 100 communities across America building public facilities and creating commercial redevelopment, low income housing, all through public private partnerships and creative use of federal, state and local financing tools.In 2016, Women Impacting Public Policy partnered with NDC to provide support for WIPP’s coalition activities. In her role as Director of the NDC Washington office, Jane Campbell also serves as President of WIPP.As the Senior Advisor to Senator Cantwell on the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Campbell lead the committee’s work on access to capital and women’s entrepreneurship, while providing guidance to the committee’s Staff Director, a position she held under Senator Landrieu. As Staff Director, Campbell directed policy to support small businesses’ access to capital, federal contracting opportunities, business counseling, and engagement in international trade.� From 2009-13, Campbell served as Senator Landrieu’s Chief of Staff leading efforts to recover from both Katrina and the Gulf oil spill.Campbell’s public service career included serving as the first woman mayor of Cleveland, five years as county commissioner for Ohio’s largest county, and six terms in the Ohio House of Representatives. Her public service focused on economic development, fiscal stability, child welfare, and health and human services policy. After successfully implementing welfare reform, Governing Magazine honored Campbell as 2000 Public Official of the Year.

    Ken Marlow is a partner and chair of the healthcare department at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis in Nashville, Tenn.

    Patricia Healy, CFA, joined the firm in the summer of 2016 as a Senior Vice President of Research and Portfolio Manager. Ms. Healy was most recently Senior Director for Bayern LB where she oversaw the Public Finance portfolio as well as the firm’s Tender Option Bond liquidity program. Previously, Ms. Healy served as a credit analyst at TD Securities as well as Offitbank. She also has experience at the credit rating agencies of Fitch and Standard & Poor’s.Ms. Healy holds a B.S. in Finance from the State University of New York at New Paltz. In addition, she is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

    Guy Yandel is an Executive Vice President and Co-Manager of the Municipal Finance Division at George K. Baum & Company. In his role, Mr. Yandel oversees underwriting, municipal advisory services and capital markets for various public and private sectors across the country. Mr. Yandel started with George K. Baum & Company in 1991 as a Banker in the National Housing Finance Group. His prior positions at the Firm have included the Manager of the National Housing Finance Group and the Manager of Public Finance. Mr. Yandel is a graduate of Rice University with a Master's Degree in Business and Public Management, and a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering.
