Frances J. Coet, CPA/CFF, CVA, CFP®, CFFA began her career as a tax and accounting professional forty years ago. Currently serving as a principal in the Westminster, Colorado CPA and financial planning firm of Coet 2 CPAs, PC, Coet assists over 1,200 individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary entities each year to file their income tax returns. Tax planning for start up businesses, real estate transactions, and buying and selling of small businesses absorbs a great deal of Coet’s professional time and expertise.Coet holds multiple professional designations – Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified Financial Planner Practitioner (CFP), and Certified Financial Forensic Analyst (CFFA). She approaches her clients with a holistic financial perspective – most of her client base is closely held businesses and their owners. Applying her training as an accounting professional with emphasis in tax, valuation and financial planning, Fran has been able to advise clients on how to keep more of what they make, and how to define their financial goals and attain them. Coet has qualified as an expert witness regarding business valuations, professional ethics and income tax issues in litigation environments, and is a trained instructor of tax law topics. In the year 2000, the Small Business Administration designated Fran as the 2000 SBA Accountant-Advocate for the State of Colorado and Region VIII. She graduated from Regis University, magna cum laude, with a major in business administration and a minor in economics. Coet is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado Society of CPAs, the Financial Planning Association, and the National Association of Valuation Analysts. She was chair of the Colorado Society of CPA’s Federal Taxation Committee and served on that Society’s Board of Directors and as a Vice President of the Society. She is currently a board member of the Westminster Legacy Foundation, serves as an instructor for the Front Range Community College’s Small Business Development Center, and serves as a consultant to the Colorado Board of Accountancy.Before Coet and her husband John opened their own accounting practice in 1986, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a taxpayer service specialist and classroom instructor, and at a local CPA firm. A third generation tax preparer, she began her career with an income tax and bookkeeping firm in Iowa in 1971.

Peter is a partner based in WithumSmith+Brown's New Brunswick, NJ, office and entered the public accounting profession over 25 years ago. He is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of New Jersey and specializes in taxation.A graduate of Brooklyn College, where he earned his BA degree in economics, Peter also completed graduate courses at Baruch School of Business, City University of New York. He began his accounting career at Laventhol & Horwath after serving as an IRS agent for eight years. He was a founding partner of Mendlowitz Weitsen, LLP, which merged into WS+B in 2005. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). Peter is a past president of the Middlesex/Somerset Chapter of the NJSCPA and a former chairperson of the Cooperation with the IRS Committee. Peter currently presents to the NJSCPA as a member of the IRS practitioner Liaison Committee New Jersey.He currently serves as treasurer for the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce and received the chamber’s "2002 Business Leader of the Year Award." In addition to co-authoring three books, Peter has written numerous articles and has been quoted in several publications throughout the country. He is also a frequent speaker before business and professional groups.

John Hughes, CA, is an accounting and financial reporting consultant, and Director of Accounting Standards at MSCM LLP. John was Manager, Corporate Finance for over six years at the Ontario Securities Commission, with particular involvement in the OSC's continuous disclosure review program and related policy matters. Apart from IFRS, his areas of emphasis and expertise include MD&A, corporate governance, disclosure controls and procedures, and regulatory compliance generally. He is a frequent presenter and writer on these topics and others (including regular commentary at mscm.ca), was co-editor (for Deloitte Canada) of the CCH publication iGAAP: IFRS for Canada, and is the author of IFRS Literacy: Understanding the new Financial Statements, published by CCH in October 2010."

Deacon Bill Koniers is a recognized change agent inside the U.S. Catholic Church today. As Director, Parish Finance Services for the Diocese of Bridgeport, Deacon Koniers oversaw the comprehensive re-engineering of parish financial administration to achieve immediate transparency and accountability to parishioners. He spent 11 years in various management positions with General Electric, and another 11 years with Pirelli North America. Prior to joining the Diocese of Bridgeport in 2006, Deacon Koniers held senior executive roles with Air Products Healthcare, a $300 million regional provider of ancillary home healthcare products and services, where he implemented a new order-to-cash revenue cycle and far-reaching company-wide change management.Deacon Koniers was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate by Bishop William Lori in 2004, and presently serves at Saint Pius X Roman Catholic Parish in Fairfield, CT.

Mary Miller brings decades of experience to help CathoNet's clients quickly and efficiently ramp up their skills and knowledge to become expert users of 21st century technology.A Certified Public Accountant, and faculty member at the University of New Haven (CT), Mary is a consummate professional with unique depth and breadth of talent. From delivering webinars to providing custom accounting solutions and standardizing chart of accounts, Mary has been instrumental in training clergy and staff in parishes and dioceses large and small and in defining and deploying standards across dioceses across the United States.Prior to her work with CathoNet, spent 20 + years teaching and consulting in areas of accounting systems and internal control designs and assessments within the computerized environment. As a specialist in this area she has assisted many accounting firms as well as their clients to improve their systems and technology. She is a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), CSCPA (Connecticut State Society of Certified Public Accountants), Milford (CT) Chamber of Commerce, and NSEE (National Society of Experiential Education).

As Executive Vice President of Product Strategy and Marketing for Sage North America, Himanshu Palsule is responsible for directing product strategy and marketing across a range of award winning products, including the company’s ERP, CRM, and vertical industry solutions in North America. In prior roles at Sage, Mr. Palsule has been the General Manager for the ERP and CRM businesses across Sage North America. Mr. Palsule has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting and financial industry and has been a regular speaker at several industry events. He holds a degree in computer science from India and a degree in software engineering from the University of Minnesota.
