    Joan Cleveland is Senior Vice President, Business Development, Individual Life Insurance at Prudential. She is responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities within new markets to expand life insurance distribution and product offerings. For example, she recently led the development of an Internet-based acquisition and service process for simplified issue term and single premium universal life insurance products. She also leads a unit that optimizes direct sales opportunities and campaigns, along with a division that builds and manages strategic affinity programs for Prudential’s individual life insurance policyholders. Joan also leads all proactive and reactive customer retention activities.Joan Cleveland has a robust 30+ year history within the financial services industry. Prior to joining Prudential Financial, she was Senior Vice President, National Sales Leader at Genworth Financial (previously GE Financial).
