Ryan oversees a banking network with 5,400 branches, 16,000 ATMs and 76,000 employees nationwide. Chases number of branches is the third largest in the nation while the number of ATMs is second highest. Consumer Banking also supports telephone banking, online banking and mobile banking, which allows customers to access their accounts whenever they need. He is also leading the effort to improve the overall experience for Chase customers. Prior to his current position, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Home Lending and also served as the Chief Risk Officer for Chases consumer businesses. As Chief Risk Officer, he oversaw all credit risk management for the various consumer businesses and provided leadership to risk managers in home lending, auto finance, education finance, consumer banking, business banking and card services. Before being named Chief Risk Officer, Ryan was the head of Product and Marketing for Consumer Banking for three years. Ryan was a principal at McKinsey & Company before joining JPMorgan Chase. At McKinsey, he worked in the firms retail banking and consumer credit practice. He also served as Wisconsin’s Director of Statewide Competitive Recovery Operations where he oversaw private sector and local government applications for American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds.� A native of Ohio, Mr. Easton holds a B.A. in History and a minor in Black World Studies from Miami University in Oxford, OH and an Masters of Public Policy Degree from the University of Michigan. Jay Freeman is a Senior Advisor to Gallup. He brings his expertise in financial services and retail banking and experience as a Gallup client to Gallup and its clients, advising them strategies to deepen customer relationships , increase market share and profitability.Jay is a native of Houston, Texas and began his banking career there in 1979. He joined Wells Fargo in 1996 through the acquisition of Victoria Bancshares, where he served as Executive Vice President. He managed Victorias Community Bank, including all its retail and commercial banking operations. For the last 12 years, Jay led Sales & Service Development (SSD) within Wells Fargos Community Bank. Under his leadership, SSD reported and analyzed sales and service data and developed sales and service best practices, including the customer experience improvement program 11 Ways to WOW! SSD also provided regional marketing support, coordinated learning and development, and developed strategic communications for Wells Fargo Community Bank. Jay received his bachelors degree in business administration (finace) from the University of Houston. He is currently serving a third term as Chairman of the Board of the Bank Administration Institute. He and his wife, Cindy, live in Folsom, California.
